Why Gentlemen Don't Prefer Blondes

Princes Charming, Charming and Charming were surprised
one Tuesday night,
When they all met each other whilst speed dating, at
the exclusive Club Twilight.
They knew about the divorces, they'd read about them
in the papers,
But until this night they could not realise,
the similarity of their respective capers.

Cinderella and Charming had lasted about a month.
About as long as it took for that 'glass slipper'
anecdote to lose its punch.

Snow White was beautiful, to be sure.
But, sadly, she turned out to be rather a bore.
When exploring Fairyland's romantic wharfs,
all she could talk about were those blasted dwarfs.

And poor Sleeping Beauty was doomed from the refrain,
which signalled the Court Jester's arrival to entertain.
She giggled innanenly at puns about meats and bread,
But the ironic references to insomina just flew right over her head.

The Prince Charmings ended up sat together during the lull,
exhausted from discussing hair extensions with Rapunzel.
And finding; as they drowned their sorrows, a shared wish
that there could be more to fairytale girls,
than rosy red lips and golden curls.

Like the poem thing, remember fables can become real and btw everyone else reading this, what Phil meant to say was that if you come to The New Place in Eastville on Wednesdays you get a lovely caribbean lunch.

I think you forgot to mention that it's at 12 noon and you get an incredible array of meat and/or veggie delights (plus dessert and fruit) for a bargain three pounds!

Really; where would you be without me?

Well, a little well-timed cynicism does much to make the evening... quirky, I suppose.

It's a good thing Mel's hair is short, Phil dear. Her blond curls disappeared at about the age of four, but I have pictures if you're curious. ':-, Just let me know. (I would photoshop my own humiliation out, but since it was really just a mirror image of hers, what would be the point?)
